Well don't they? Since they have a harem and all. I might be wrong but if someone has more than one wife then doesn't it mean they want more sex.

well i think it’s more of a cultural or religious thing cos the concept of harem is common on other countries too, in Asia (india,china) a king/emperor had a legitimate wife then a lot of concubines (i guess to “produce” more heirs cos sometimes the legitimate wife can’t give birth or whatever) & if im not wrong the women in the harem can also get an education
Also just wanna add to what the others have said that in many cultures they created the option for men to have more wives because there weren't as many men as women and so this was a way to fix that and not leave everyone lonely + keep birth rates up. History matters, context matter and the middle east is not the only one. Just ignorant. （￣へ￣）
That's not it, harems are made so that the emperor or the king can have an heir. Since those times not all women are capable of giving birth to healthy babies that can reach up to adulthood. Since there were no pre-natal or maternal checkups being done. And also, they need to produce men as rightful heirs.
No absolutely no sometimes they marry for political reasons but having more than one wife doesn't make them sexual
