asians/koreans and their sa/rape fetish need to be seriously studied and i also blame all of you jinx/love is an illusion/etc. readers that made those manhwas so popular with the excuse of it just being fictional and saying they‘re just toxic stories
this is not normal

The US occupied Japan during world war 2 and brought comic books, and other American mediums which stayed in Japan even after the occupation was over. After ww2, Japanese government put forth strict restrictions that banned conventional porn. People retaliated by mass producing women having sex with shit that’s vaguely dick shaped (you can see how that may not always be consensual) and it got turned into a fetish even before the laws were like relaxed a little and hence hentai was born, which got really popular influencing the nearby (Korea) nations into copying similar story ploys, carrying onto its future predecessor of yaoi.

I love rape. I adore rape. I live for rape. When a BL has a rapist main character, it's an automatic 10/10, a 5-star story, and it's even better if they're a brutal, unrelenting, unapologetic rapist. A man that takes when he wants it. A strong seme who grips the uke until he's red and just laughs when he's told he's being too rough. Rape in yaoi is an honored, sanctified tradition. BL without rape is like an angel without its wings, a flower without soil, a mother without her child. Taking rape away from yaoi is a disgusting, perverted act. It's akin to taking away a chick from its nest. It's cultural to us fujoshi. Yaoi rape culture. It's real. It's valuable. And it should be protected. #IStandWithYaoiRape
Women write gay romances far better than the average gay male author. Fetishization is superior to "representation."
The common sentiment of "yaoi is problematic" is deeply rooted in blatant Hitler rhetoric. A lot of y'all are Nazi's. DNI + KYS if you're "anti-fujo."

you cant compare haradas stories to what i‘m talking about.
in jinx or painter of the night for example they get raped and still fall in love with each other and act like nothing happened while haradas stories are actually psychological and you can tell that something is wrong, it depicts actual trauma, abuse and how it affects relationships. and if i remember harada has stated that she relates to a lot of her stories

Calm down. I was talking to paraiso. Not to you. . Why are you doing an essay on me?
I like what I like. I don't like what I don't like, and that's it.
I too like rape in yaoi. Of course I too know that it's not always necessary but, it's life. . I like that kind of thing, end of the story.
And no i'm not a kid if you want to ask.

They're being hyperbolic 'cause ya'll are calling a common fetish, rape/cnc, degenerate while also being blatantly racist towards Asians.
I've said this a thousand times atp, but if ya'll would take 5 seconds to Google search studies on sexual fantasies you'd find out that rape/cnc is one of the most popular ones for women all 'round the world. You've probably never read trashy dimestore romance novels 'cause those things are written by women and all about men abusing their power to capture, rape and dominant the female lead in them. It isn't just an Asian thing, you're just being bigots and willfully ignorant.
I'm tired of seeing racist ass mfers in the comments get backpats blaming Asians for a fetish over 2/3 of the world's population has. Ya'll are the minority, and if you don't like the trope then maybe adhere to the tags and avoid reading it if you hate it so much. You're not changing anyone's mind who does like it by calling them names, being misogynistic or a racist. We're gonna keep reading while assuming you're either stupid or a bigot anyways.

I'm sorry, but a lot of writers use their own experiences as material for their stories.
It's either that or they take inspiration from hardships that they've seen or researched. Yaoi/bl was popularized and started as a movement for oppressed and abused Asian women to be able to secretly vent or express their sexual fantasies. They used men as their stand-ins 'cause it was a way for them to get back at their abusers. Now, this wasn't the case for all of them, but anyone who has actually been reading the study material would know this. For someone who claims to have been reading yaoi/bl for a long time you're one ignorant mfer and sound like you only just started during the covid wave.
Also, fun fact, even back in the day a lot of major series, like Okane ga Nai, were actually written and drawn by gay men. Geicomi/Bara is also mostly drawn by gay men and depicts far worse abuse than I've seen in your standard bishie yaoi/bl but no one bitches about that I've noticed.
Ya'll are just trying to find excuses to be bigots while regurgitating TERF/SWERF rhetoric that was probably picked off of some TERF's UwU pastel "we hate transwomen and transmen" blogs.
i will never understand people complaining about too much smut when the premise of this manhwa is giving life essence through sex.. what do you think the plot is gonna be about?
last week i saw some people complaining about too much smut in full volume when the plot is about a sex worker.. like..
if deep plot and progress is important to you, then you should just stick to shonen ai or actually read the descriptions or just drop the manhwa if you don‘t like the amount of smut
I'm the kind of person who never complains about too much smut haha. I actually love it. Also, Sign had a lot of smut too, so I was aware that this is the author's style.
At the same time, I can understand those who are complaining—it can be frustrating to wait so long for new chapters while the plot doesn’t really move forward. This story is definitely the kind that’s better to read all at once.
THIS!!!!! i love full volume and this manhwa and exactly you took the words right out of my mouth
This smut can go on until my very last breath I take. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
The Smug-Tag is there for a reason. So let us have our smuttysmutsmut all over us... or something like that. Idk. My ADHD-brain is kicking after spending 3 hours with hyperactive kids. ( ̄∇ ̄")
I wouldn't say to change genre, I've read plenty of stuff that had plot AND buckets of smut.
But, I do agree that if this isn't someone's cup of tea... no one is making you read it.
There are millions of other chapters of thousands of other manga to read, just in this website.
