Just trying to inform others that he's actually a decent human being— in fact a huge green flag (especially to his son). All that rude personality he has now is because of his brother. He had emotions and his family didnt like it so they gave him trauma.

It's in chapter 59: Horus tells Anubis that to become a god, a demi-god (as in, a child of the gods that hasn't become yet a god themselves) needs to have 3 things: 1) a mature body, 2) a strong mentality with the virtue of self-sacrifice, and 3) the determination to live as a god, willing to be reborn as a completely different being with a new body and mind, and which, as Horus explains in chapter 62, means forsaking all the memories of your "pre-god" life.
In chapter 143, he repeats: "when you (re)awaken as a god, you become an entirely diffferent being, and you abandon your memories of the past". In chapter 144, Horus repeats it in a flashback, that to become a god, a demi-god needs: 1) a mind suitable for a god, 2) a mature physical form, and 3) to forget the "pre-god" past, just like Seth subconsciously knew that had happened with his own awakening, and thus subconsciously used to fear would also happen with Anubis, once Anubis became a god. Horus explains that Seth's subconscious sent the growth stunt curse on Anubis so that Anubis would not be able to grow to a mature physical body, and then become a god and forget about their father-son bond.
Lastly, in chapter 189: Maat explains that they become gods by establishing a contract with Creation, which from then on sends their awareness of any "pre-god" life to their deepest subconscious.

Osiris' gift of sand to Seth was given AFTER Seth became the god of sand, not before. The only change that Osiris provoked with his "gift" was turning Seth from an "average" god of sun, with no remarkable power, to an "all powerful" god of sand, and Osiris did this by expanding Seth's desert without Seth's knowledge, by secretly turning Egypt from a place full of vegetation, to a desert: it's one thing to be god of the sand in a place where there is BARELY ANY SAND around, and another thing entirely, to be god of the sand in a place where there is LITTLE ELSE BUT SAND, around... Osiris basically used his own power over his own domain of life and vegetation to kill off all plants and make all plant life decrease to make way for Seth's sand to grow and take over the entire place, so the sand would have more space and thus would expand and turn Egypt into a desert, making Seth's own power become greater, even without Seth's knowledge: if Osiris killed off his own plants, then the less plants there were in Egypt, the more desert there was, and the more desert there was, the more power Seth unknowingly acquired, thanks to Osiris' indirect help. But all this happened AFTER Seth was already the god of sand.
