Why do authors always resolve these types of situations by making the characters say "He's mine!". It doesn't mean shxt. Mc was assaulted, the perpetrator continues is inappropriate behavior, doesn't see what's wrong and goes free, the bf still doesn't understand the concepts of assault and consent, and the whole situation is never addressed. It's just ignoring the problem.
