nah , Im sorry but the author definitely has some type of fetish because this is sick. She's the one creating this story and has the ability to give him a backbone and make it more interesting, knowing they are gonna end up together at the end. No one in real life should allowed that type of disrespect but it does happen sometimes and is called an a abusive relationship and if thats the case this story does not deserve a happy ending then.
I understand u but it makes more sense for him to not succeed at his first attempt to truly cut the guy off as is the case with most real life abusing relationships. So no we r no where bear the redemption arc and the thing ur talking abt him growing a back bone IS gonna come eventually but him growing it just because he moved away for smtime is just not gonna cut it
lets hope thats the case, I saw someone pointing out that the author is refusing he same formula as Bj Alex redemption arc and I fear for this story is not enough.
