I don’t think what they’re trying to say is that is an orchestrated sob story to win they over, but more likely they’re trying to point out the fact it’s a really dangerous massage the “he was mistreated so he’s excused if he does it to someone else”. Personally I quite like the stories (like Harada’s) in which the characters behave as toxic peace of s**t as long as it is depicted as a wrong behaviour of a distorted person, and often in yaoi mangas it isn’t. In this story is not very highlighted JJK is doing horrible things, the author himself said all sex scenes were their favorite when asked (even the r*pe scenes!). I think you can read a story like this, but you have to know that’s wrong because the risk is to become desensitised, that’s what I think they’re complaining about: a good story that explains a villain’s actions is really cool, but he remains a villain even if he suffered greatly. Sorry for the long massage, I’m not hating, these stories are my guilty pleasure, I just wanted to say how I feel (づ￣ ³￣)づ
You're right. Harada's stories are so disturbing, but it's less hard to read compared to many stories cause bad is showed bad way. From how BJ Alex went and hoe jinx goes on, he would probably barely have any consequences. Which is not bad, many stories doesn't have the criminal punished. But atlest through some perspective shows the evilness.

Ofc i understand that but also there is a great importance as to the explanation of someones behaviours because a bigger question wud literally be hy wud dan even fall for someone like that and the answere is that he doesnt know love and affection either ( in that way) and u need all of this so that later on in his redemption arc its easier to accept the change. But for these people its like they just decide to block these part of the story out as if they r just " excuses" viewing it as something to take sides on which is just seems stupid.
