I read a review based on the novel and according to them, seme is a green flag? There are a lot of presumptions made by the Uke thanks to the novel that are apparently misinterpreted/innacurate..so we’ll see how the webtoon version follows…

From what I got in raws
Uke is hurt by being called a groupie and tells seme he’s gonna leave, after deleting his phone contact and asking him if he can at least go to a show sometimes. Seme is upset with himself for hurting Uke.
Over time, the band starts having issues with members wanting to leave and work full time, other wants to quit and marry gf and work in corporate rolls. Lots of fighting and Seme is dissapointed and thinks he was the only one in it for the love of music. From time to time he looks at the phone and gets anxious remembering Uke deleted his number..
Some more time passes and things gradually get a bit better. Band members communicate and they reach a compromise. They get a very big gig and all is looking well…until seme gets a sent an unrecognised message on his phone, a photo of him on his date with Uke.
Panicking, seme responds to the number and asks to meet up, but there’s no reply.
It’s gig night and all is going well but seme is a ball of stress. He relaxes a lil and gets into the music but he is able to see Uke all the way from the back of the crowd. Seme gets a message from the unrecognised number to meet in the bathroom.
In the bathroom is Uke. Seme realises it’s Uke who sent the photo. He pushes Uke into stall and gets mad. Turns out Uke is INCREDIBLY offended about the groupie comment. Starts threatening Uke with blackmail. Seme panics me Uke has him blow him. Uke makes comments about preferring to fuck cool rock stars over lil indie singers like him. Jokes that seme probsbly doesn’t have a lawyer yet if he’s still not come clean to his hand mates about sleeping with a “groupie”.
When seme finally folds and asks what he can do for the Uke, Uke says that what he really wants is to just see the seme again and hang out the way they used to. I guess this touches seme somehow (??), I mean, I think he fell for Uke at first sight. Seme agrees that he wants the same and they kiss and the gig continues,
Uke says in his head that he won’t allow anything like this to happen again.
Andddd that’s it until the next season (sorry if there’s any mistakes, the wordings are low-key confusing lol)

It’s exhausting and I’m beginning to genuinely despise this trope because it’s genuinely the default in romance genres. The Fuckboy x virgin dynamic does absolutely nothing for me because I simply cannot suspend my disbelief that in anyway the relationship will last, would in fact be mutually healthy and respected, or the simple fact that cheating would not be involved. It’s so ridiculous a trope in practice especially from vantage point of a woman yet somehow it’s the golden standard for an entire genre written and consumed by them.
I just don’t understand why female writers would write characters like this in the first place. Is it meant to be a self insert thing? They add feminine traits to uke characters and then have them go through typical things that majorly women go through? Like…why would you create media depicting a character being treated like this and NOT clock that it’s internalised misogyny??
Having ukes getting constantly SA, They are male characters but for some reason they have the physical strength of an average woman and are hardly ever able to physically fight and defend themselves. Seme characters are more often than not entirely dominating them, controlling the sexual relationships fully from their own end..
It’s like they’ve taken the worst things about being a woman and have romanticised it..then applied it to fictional men
It’s so bizarre to me that Asian BL written, drawn, and portrayed can essentially be distilled to your point in how the majority of its visual representation genuinely see no issue in perpetuating misogyny, rape culture, and romanticizing abuse. It’s been there since the BL’s very first yaoi and does not look as if it will change in the foreseeable future. This is the genre, and I have to accept that. I understand it’s a cultural difference in comparison to my western understandings but in 2025, I have to just accept a pig is still a pig even with the pretty lipstick. I honestly just read shounen ai types because I have to actually truly dig to find content that doesn’t adhere to this standard within Asian BL.

Y’all don’t even bother with this one. It ends in 4 chapters and has the most abrupt, nonsensical ending ever. My brain is still trying to compute it.
Seme is nonchalant all the time in their relationship. His emotions increase like 30% during sex but even then he just does Uke from behind then fiddles on his phone. Uke tells him he wants OUT so they drive to the beach like a little last date ever outing. Seme does not give a shiT and is like “ok you done? Can we go?”
They do it one last time and Uke asks to at least face eachover and semes like “sure I guess”. Nothing. Nada emotions.
Driving back, they get into an accident and both are transported back to the exact moment where they first meet.
Uke just lets it play out exactly like it did in the past. While seme doesn’t remember the future, he is overcome with ukes prettty face, not wanting to do it from behind because it’s like he’s wasting seeing his beauty. He thinks to himself that Uke is precious for some reason and his GUT is instinctively telling him to treasure him.
…anyway, they have good sex for once and Uke is like “oh my god maybe this could be our chance to redo everything!!”
And it literally ends there.
