Has become a trope ridden mess! It seems to me that the author is just grabbing whatever overused tropes that she can and mashing them together. This manhwa should have ended 100+ episodes ago in my opinion, but is being stretched until the plot is nonexistent.

I'm sorry I'm not a fan of either of this ass-hats. Knight Captain is only thinking of Elan, have not heard him mention her CHILDREN and keeping THEM save. And Albert is willing to hurt and kill anyone that gets in his way, Knight Captain told them that the woman is not to be hurt, but then Albert says that they'll kill who they need to in order to get their (his only?) revenge. Emperor isn't a great guy, but at least his upfront about being a dick so you know to hate him lol. Knight Captain seems to be the type that will hide whatever he thinks he must to keep Elan "safe" and keep her in the dark, and I don't think he really thinks much of her kids as anything, probably only sees them as a big mistake and the demon spawn of the Emperor, which is not true whatsoever. And then you got Albert who acts all kind and caring, but he'd probably smile at you while stabbing you to death.
I don't know I think things could work out with the Emperor if he and Elan would COMMUNICATE and talk things out, you know like grown adults lol.
