NGL, it is a weird angle to return half a year later with a side story when the main story is on a cliffhanger. Maybe they're still figuring out the main story and need more time?

i think it's a thing now, to start a side story before going back to the main story, just like red thread quest

I think this is the first time I've seen an side story done following a cliffhanger.

Exactly this. It's just weird, IDC if people disagree with me. They're not resting between seasons, they're giving us another story completely and it makes NO sense why when we're all waiting for the real story to come through

Opposite, I actually don't understand why people are mad at my opinion lol I just want the real story. An au side after it was over would have been fine because we'd get to see the characters we love and not say goodbye yet. But a new story with same characters while the main is on a cliffhanger feels weird idk

I think they're still just working out the story and had another idea they wanted to do. That's fine, but the timing isn't great due to the cliffhanger--plus adding a side story means they have MORE work, and may have to go on hiatus if they overwork themselves.

Exactly, at least you get it lol I love the art, characters, and story, but I liked the story for the supernatural theme. I'm I just hope they don't overdo it and come back strong with the original story!
