I think people can express thier opinion if they see that the relationship doesn't fit based on past actions. The author can't make everyone happy and it's fine for people to think the relationship didn't progress well. It's a comment section and these aren't the most unreasonable opinions. No one has to be happy for the relationship that's not how reading a piece of fiction is supposed to be, you can dislike some parts or everything. No hate just saying that people are allowed to complain about aspects of a story
