Hmm... unsure whether or not this story is supposed to illustrate the cycle of abuse and why those stuck in it have difficulty breaking away. If that is the case, then things would make marginally more sense. However, I'm not really feeling confident in that assessment.
Overall, I just wasn't a fan of this story. The main character barely had any personality. I cannot think of a single instance where he had original thoughts or actions that could help the reader sympathize or understand his motivations. Not only that, none of the other characters were even remotely likable or realistic either.
I think that the story could have been much better if there were more of a focus on the development of an abusive relationship between Yule and Kyung-Soo. Dong-Hyuk could have thrown more drama in by making Kyung-Soo question his continued relationship with Yule.
However, instead, we were left with character decisions and situations that totally lacked believability, along with (inn my opinion) an excessively drawn out period during which we witnessed Kyung-Soo being abused by three (or four) people. It was very frustrating to read this, and I just feel disappointed by outcome and lack of a clear message.

nah, i don't think the story is supposed to be that deep, seems like the author just couldn't make up their mind or something....

... Why did Dong Hyuk become a schmuck too? Haven't you ever heard of the police? How did he arrive at the conclusion that killing someone would work out just fine?
AND Kyung Soo... I mean, he technically hasn't done anything wrong, but goddamn boy, would it hurt to learn a little?
Just UGH (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
I have read this for so long that I feel obligated to see it through, but everything is annoying me at this point.
I can totally get how he misunderstood though, since saying "I like you," whilst putting your hand over another person's, isn't what I would call 'just being friendly.' haha
