yes the story is very superficial and rushed. The FL seems quite shallow but atleast she had the sense to dump her boyfriend the moment she realized she had no feelings for him WITHOUT CHEATING or playing with his feelings. Unlike a lot of Josei smuts.
The MC has to suffer by that creepy count and his repugnant family all because the MC's mother (quite rightly)rejected the Count's advances and he became obsessed with anything related to her.
