The ML is killed in a car crash that is caused by his psycho yandere sidekick. They die together and his last thoughts are of the FL.
It's implied that in his own twisted way he "loved" the FL the most.
The FL's marriage is left in tatters and I think her husband moved on with someone else.
I'm not really sure since I'm basing that interpretation on the raws. However, 100% she is no longer with her husband.
