First time reading something like that, it made me pause and I think I’m gonna be thinking about it for a while. I don’t believe I’ve ever felt like that...
Secrets are always a Big No No! And honestly, I expect more from Minjaes’ character...

This is strictly my opinion, I’m sure many would disagree, but still...
A story with a deeper connection between two characters is more interesting to read. I‘m sure the majority of us who like Jihyuns’ character don’t like it for his actions. Rather I believe we like his character because it has room to grow and develop, and we like his connection to Chiwoo, because their history makes for a much more compelling read, it’s fascinating and thrilling to know how it began, how they got to where they are now, and how it’s going to turn out. Simply put it’s the suspense.
Once your storyline has that element of suspense, any deviation from that narrative becomes an unnecessary distraction, any additional character cannot be dull, typical, linear or possessing a singular trait. It slows down and prevents an amazing story from unfolding. If one must insert an additional character, it can’t be a childish character thrown into a mix of adult thinking and acting characters (even though there all supposedly high schoolers), it just doesn’t seem believable to me that a childish character could stand equal to the conflict drawn between them. What mostly puts me off is how typical and predictable it’s made to be...
That in no way means that I would want nor support Chiwoo in a relationship with an abusive partner like Jihyun. But it does mean that I would rather Chiwoos’ struggle be rewarded with him growing as a person and overcoming once and for all Jihyuns’ hold on him.

I hope that I would be super open minded to it since I’ve read so many supernatural books & manga and watched so many shows & movies. I also hope to be very cool about it like “oh you got a tail, psh, no biggie” (づ￣ ³￣)づ
