Char perfectly exhibits the reality of a human who suffered for hundreds of years then got a chance go back in time and prevent that torturous future to happen so ofcourse she's gonna scheme and be manipulative. This story is not yor typical mc who just got heart broken that soon drowned and came back to life and planned a revenge! So if you hate her i suugeet you just go read your usual softboiled revenge plot and a softboiled mc.
I agree. There is some point in time that you have to be the villain. Does heroes need to be a good person? Heroes were not always the good guys. During this time, if you don’t have the guts and the wits, you’ll ended up dead. You have to outsmart your enemy. If no one will step up, others will suffer in the long run. What I’m saying is, life is not always sunshine and rainbows.
