This is another kind of asshole seme that doesn’t seem to fit in any box. He goes up and down, rollercoasters could learn from him. One moment he’s all arrogant and abusive then realizes he’s sorry and regretful then the next moment he goes all menacing. It’s like he takes one step forward then 2 steps back. But what I do like about this is that the characters seem to be aware and in touch of their emotions, like they’re both straight forward, it’s refreshing.
I really don’t get the point of the r*pe. Why did the author throw that in there out of nowhere. Was it to create conflict to further solidify Seungchan and Hyesung’s relationship where i think is already great enough without that happening..? The author could’ve gone with that third party co-worker route to give us that trust and reassurance sht but no...it was that r*p* instead. Plus that scene was really horrible with hyesung being overpowered and tied down unable to do anything. Don’t get me wrong, I love this manhwa and i don’t want to reduce it to those 2 chapters but I just wanna share my 2 cents out there and if i’m the only one who thinks this.

my take is that the author needed to get rid of the other guy before the ending so readers won't think he just magically vanished. in the end the guy was sent to jail (probably thanks to the help of seungchan's parents who is a judge and a prosecutor)
