1. The pretty eyelash gene is strong. Even the brother has them, he just frowns a lot so you can barely see them lol

2. It's so sad that Ilya still wants to have approval and love from his father, it's literally been 10 years since they last saw each other too. You can see the heartbreak when his father tells him to leave, like Ilya hoped maybe his father would tell him something else - even a welcome back. But he just gets alienated again. You can tell that it hurts Ilya to know that Huey has a completely different relationship with his father. Huey can openly show his love and care, meanwhile Ilya only feared his father. It's just sad seeing Ilya being sad at the fact that he was and continues to be isolated by his own family. His sarcastic attitude is literally a shield because of the rejection and humiliation he suffered by everyone around him. It's also just sad that it seems that those years in civil war Ilya was forgotten, and it seems that even now Ilya was only tricked into returning by his brother (as the king told Ilya to leave). Otherwise it seems that Ilya would have never been invited back.

While I love the whole Byul and Siwoo storyline, two things don't sit right with me.

1. The staying in contact with Hyesung's mom. Like I get she escaped an abusive relationship but she had years to contact her son. By the start of the story Hyesung is an adult, so it's not like she HAD to have the father's permission to see him after a while. Also, hypothetically, if she had the opportunity to actually see her son earlier, would she have still kept him a secret? She didn't tell her new family about him even after trying to meet him, so would she have still kept him a secret from her family even if she could see him as a child? I don't like the mom, and I didn't feel sad that her new family left her, like she abandoned her son once, would she also dip out on them if the tides turned? So that whole bit just left a sour taste in my mouth, and unless it becomes an actual storyline with Hyesung being angry at his spouse and child, it'll just be a shitty thing to force someone to accept. What're they gonna do next, secretly take the new baby to see the mom when Hyesung cut her off for valid reasons? For Hyesung to reconcile with a woman who abandoned him and only showed back up when it was convenient for her?

2. The possibility of romance between Heasoo's daughter and Chunwoo's daughter. This one is more personal taste I guess, but I can't get into that train. Like their parents have a complicated relationship to begin with, and yeah Heasoo's daughter is adopted but that doesn't matter anyways because I couldn't imagine having one of my future in laws be one of my parent's ex-husband. Like that's a can of worms that is just meh. Also I don't like Haesoo's daughter that much anyways, so having Chunwoo's daughter with her is just going to be lame to me, like that girl deserves better than the brown-haired stuck up bitch. I was so excited to see Chunwoo's daughter but this possibility makes me want to just ignore that storyline completely (like I ignored Dojin's sister's story for being terrible). I might even drop it, cause I would prefer for Chunwoo's daughter to be a kinder version of Chunwoo, but still a princess, not some love sick girl for someone not even worth it (/TДT)/ this is personal taste tho

I saw someone mention that Haesoo's daughter and Chunwoo's daughter feel like cousins and that's why I can't vibe with the ship. I feel like they're related, mostly because of their family connections, so I am not a fan of the ship. And when I saw Haesoo's daughter blush I cringeeeeeeeeed so hard it gave me 2nd hand embarrassment ┗( T﹏T )┛

    But they’re not related.
I don’t get the cousins vibe with them bc dojun and the omega dude aren’t closed at all. They weren’t attracted to eachother and were pressure to marry eachother for connections. So I don’t get the uncomfortableness. The kids feel more like childhood friends than cousins

I never said they are related, I just said they feel like they are. Some childhood friends do grow up saying they could never date each other because they grew up together almost like family, not all, but some have. Anyways it's a vibe I get, so if you don't feel it, good for you. I'm most likely gonna drop this one like I did the older sister's story, and wait until it's finished to either skim it or to jump the parts I dislike.

So I tried to find out more and...

1. The author mentioned side stories for the last time in late 2017/early 2018. Their last actual twt was about the publishing of the Italian(?) Translation, the rest are retwts. They only said something along the lines of "I'll be preparing! Wait for the side stories!"
2. The author was VERY passionate about the L3zhin movement from 2018. L3zhin was exposed for shady practices (such as having blacklisted and exploited authors) and a series of protests followed, with some authors taking breaks. The author talked about being at protests, retwted hundreds of twts about unions/orgs, and even drunk posted about the movement. From 2018 to 2019 the author retwted about the movement, with nothing about the side stories being mentioned. They never mentioned anything about other stories or the side stories since. Makes me think they might have protested by not uploading anything. This is me speculating though.
3. Since 2019 the author has not been active online or at least not active on twt. No statement why and no updates. I can't tell what happened to them either, as it seems not even Korean readers know about their whereabouts. There were updates to the movement in 2020 but those updates weren't retwted, making me think that the author had life events happened that have taken their time up. Either they are now working an average 9-5, working under a new name (they were extremely harsh during the movement and that could've made them change pen names to publish elsewhere), or are just no longer around for personal reasons (let's hope the author is in good health). Ppl also left comments as recently as early 2025, with no response from the author, so they don't seem to be checking the account.

My hope is that the author may return one day to either give an update on themselves, release a new story, or release the side stories. I think they're a great artist and storyteller, so it would be a shame to never hear from them again. But realistically, with zero updates since 2019 and even Korean readers having no info, it seems the author is not going to return to give the side stories. ┗( T﹏T )┛

Last update I heard was that in 2024 or early 2025, the German version was released with a cover update. So the author is out there, but I learned about the German version on here and from a random twt user. Considering the author was very active in the past and also updated about the Italian version, we are at a standstill with them not updating about the German version. I've been waiting for years too, so I just forget about it and keep it on my updates/follow the author to hopefully get news one day, but I am not actively checking anymore.

I read this comic since it was being published, so it has a special place in my heart. And then the years just happened, and I just wanted to know what happened to the author. Unfortunately, there's no information.

I love seeing the changes from the first volume to this volume (7)! Naoto was soooo isolated and scared of the world at first, he only had his mother and Shizuku was barely five years old! Not only that but he had dropped out of school after the assault happened, so he was carrying the trauma of alphas (and friends) taking advantage of him. But now, Naoto has more friends and acquaintances that he can rely on, aside from his family. He's not alone anymore and he can rely on others and be relied on too! I love his smile as well, as it's so telling of the healing he's gone through.

Hazuki was somewhat a loner but he was carrying a lot of guilt over being an alpha, but him slowly maturing and learning has been great. He's had his ups and downs, but he's been working hard. He not only loves Naoto, but he loves Shizuku as a daughter as well. Shizuku has been trying to protect her mama for so long, she basically didn't trust others (she was even hostile to Hazuki!). But she's been able to be a kid, to make friends and find her own path since Hazuki has become her papa. Naoto is certainly still her favorite and her number 1 support, but Hazuki has taken up her mission to protect her mama as well, so she can also focus on growing up. Their relationship is super cute, especially with Shizuku calling Hazuki by a nickname, but seeing him as her one and only papa. (It makes me so angry knowing that at some point she may have to be told that her conception was such a shitty situation. I hope she never sees the scumbag of a sperm giver again.)

I hope to see more of the kids growing up too (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ.

I saw on the author's twt account that there would be an extra chapter focused on Noa (Shisuku's bff), so I hope it gets translated as well.

I actually am curious if the Uncle even sent the letter to Little A. It seems someone else might have done it, but in that case WHO would have wanted Little A around? The doctor guy wants to take charge of the farm and the other farm hands/animal-men did not know A had a nephew, so they wouldn't have done it. Pink guy is suspicious, but we need more info on him.

Which may get into the whole incident that Little A forgot. It seems he was so deeply traumatized, he not only forgot but his behavior completely changed for his parents to keep him isolated from the world and in therapy for his whole youth. I wonder what Little A saw....

this makes sooooo much sense especially the pink pig or sheep knowing about little As existence cuz they met each other as a kid, he probs snitched to the doc

I am definitely going to read this one. Just some slightly fucked up shit, which ain't even bottom of the barrel bad anyways.

I wish we had more wild-ass plots, they're great

I think some people are forgetting that Guwon & the hounds have killed ppl without much thought, only to ask questions after. For the girl they killed her friend and were certainly going to kill her, for Teach the thief/father was killed immediately and Guwon only looked around to find a reason to save Teach. I am sure the other villagers have had similar stories, and understandably they keep going. If they were to die or give up then that would only make the deaths of their loved ones even more worthless. Does that make them somewhat hypocritical? Yes, but not without reason. Especially considering the hounds are like a loyal cult of followers, who I'm sure have a hand in the creation of the rules and their enforcement. Although they're usually out, I'm sure if they came back to chaos or heard of Guwon being hurt, they would kill the villagers. Their only priority would be Guwon, so the villagers can't be rash in their actions out of fear. But it does seem they've had enough. Not that I think the plan will work. My thought is that they will fail and lead to 2 routes, the rebellion is squashed and Teach becomes some sort of prisoner to Guwon (who'll be conflicted) or the rebellion will fail and escape, with the hounds chasing after them.

But I saw someone's theory thats possible too. Teach will have a moment of clarity that will reveal everything after trying to kill Guwon. Meanwhile Guwon will have to face how his actions have been viewed and how everyone views him - which is a lot of different things. I'm sure the hounds cheer anything he does, meanwhile the villagers walk on eggshells for a reason. And Teach is becoming indispensable to Guwon BUT Teach holds anger, love, frustration, and fear towards Guwon.

Little a is the biggest freak in town. I do want to know more but also Little a being freaky is good lol

I knew it was coming but it's so sad seeing the babiesssssss ╥﹏╥

It's so sad knowing that they were sacrificed for the sake of the organization trying to replicate a power set (/TДT)/
