Agreed, also coming out the closet is something an individual have the right to decide on. I love how both of them respect each other. Even tho the seme is closeted, he tries to show affection in his own way or adjusts to try be more considerate to the uke. The uke too, in asking for consent first on showing his affection in public, shows how considerate he is.
This just show how respect, consent, and communication plays a huge role in this type of relationship. Although it is hard, which was emphasized by the childhood friend and its understandable (tho i dont like how he used it to take advantage of the uke).
