Living such a torturous and mentally horrific childhood till of age, I’m actually surprised with how well he controlled his trauma with undermining tendencies for his wife, he ignored her and isolated her, but never corrupted her directly or physically assaulted her in anyway directly himself. Which is rarely the case, sadly though she was pregnant and vulnerable at the time so she was too weak to fend for herself, that’s horrid of course, then again he never intently said nor physically held her in such a way ever, though that’s also cause he ignored her, he’s just a truly pitiful sad man.
He’s not worth being detested, but given his second chance, at least he didn’t come back and kill his wife, feeling endangered of his son’s existence for being his inevitable death, he could have come back and strangled his son, but he didn’t, he instead looked at him with joy and felt the need of repenting for his sins, by writing his wrongs and giving them the happiness he carelessly stripped away from them, that being said I think he’s more forgivable now than he was before, but he needs to let her know and give her a direct apology if and when he finds out she has reincarnated with him without a doubt, she deserves your entire truth, don’t disrespect her with lies nor your own ignorance of the needing to tell her, else you can’t truly be considered as forgivable in anyones eyes.
