No she just doesn't know of one he may have left her mom and she probably reminds her of the father therefore she hates the sight of her daughter. There's many different conclusions that can be why Kyoko says she doesn't have one

╮(￣▽￣)╭ just because she said that doesn't mean he's dead. It just means he's never been there for her in life. He probably doesn't even know she's alive. This could also be a reason why her mother denied that she had a child on television! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

since her father had a story we can imagine anything why he never mentioned/ can't be known. maybe he a superstar/ political figure/ noble from some country lol it's fun to imagine ^^

Yup so I guess we are just going to have to wait and see what the story about her dad is all about. And what Lulu said can also be a big possibility. So hope the writer lets us in on the loop on this one lol. Wouldn't what to keep wondering who or what happened to the father.
