Now we have the final match! Between assassin and summoner, who will win in the rookie league...
Find out after 1 week (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
Idk what i was going with this

Not really... neither him falling out of public attention, nor a time skip fit with the pace of the story. They're already hyping up that people are calling in to see the rookie match. Since this seems like a knockoff of the equally uncreative Legendary Moonlight Sculptor, he's likely to get a contract with a news outlet, paying him for updates/videos of his exploits. Probably going to (somehow) simultaneously fly below the radar except when giving updates to the studio, while he solos raid content or some other stupid BS. I don't hate the story, but it's not good either. It's just something to read to pass the time.

@Tenelle Not everything is a knockoff of Moonlight Sculptor, but this DEFINITELY is. Or (forgive me if this one started before LMS) maybe LMS is a knockoff. Either way, one copied the other because if you look at the plot critically, they are almost identical. As far as your main question, "Do [I] like solo leveling?" Yes very much. Solo leveling takes the "OP Main Character" trope and does it beautifully. You see an amazingly written struggle to gain strength up until he is undeniably the most powerful, yet still keeps the reader engaged because, even if the MC is OP, they still must fight to protect what they hold dear. I could go on, but Solo Leveling is legitimately GOOD writing. Intelligent writing. It holds up to critical review. All of the characters that we see do logical things, have logical motivations, and show logical reactions. If you think I am just here to talk bad about manga, I'm not. I'm just very critical when I read, and I can still enjoy something even if it's objectively bad writing. It's just not AS enjoyable if it's bad writing, so I'm driven to comment. Enjoyable doesn't equal Good, and Bad Writing can sometime be Enjoyable.

I read Solo Leveling LN, my wife read Taming Master until it got too stupid, we both read The Beginning After The End until it got too stupid, and no, haven't read/heard of Trash of the Count's Family.
Solo Leveling= good writing and fun story
Taming Master= bad writing and moderately fun story
The Beginning After The End= horrible writing and barely readable story
Legendary Moonlight Sculptor= bad writing and moderately fun story.
Okay, you know how some people are "bad at math" and think stuff like Algebra is hard, and some people have no issues because they're smarter... I'm the guy who has no problem with math. The same thing applies to literature. This is the literary equivalent to addition and subtraction, and I'm trying to tell you that it's very low level, but a lot of people are really bad at math, and so this is plenty challenging to them.

For someone who is supposedly good at literature you are piss poor at conveying your argument properly. Ayo, let me talk to your wife. maybe she'll explain better. (that is a joke) So are there like any other storiess other than solo leveling that you like cause it appears to me that you are very hard to please. (also try trash of the count's family. i want to hear your opinion)

<sigh> Okay so consider this... Yes, my writing is very adversarial, HOWEVER, how would you debate with, say, a 'Flat-earther'? Would you treat all of their arguments as though they had merit and deserved the same consideration as fact based arguments? Some would, I don't bother. Also, since you've responded to a fair number of my comments, I've gone back and forth between giving respectful responses and derisive responses, depending on the position you were taking. Anyway, that aside...
Check out:
'Peerless Dad', really fun and well written. Not perfect, but really good.
'The Golden Haired Wizard', my wife recommended this and I was really pleasantly surprised. It's got some childish elements, but a surprising amount of maturity and depth. Really enjoyable, just wish there were more.
'Her Summon', simply tremendous. The art is breathtaking, and the story is really great. I almost feel like this author missed a huge opportunity in not releasing this as a traditional novel.

FINALLYYYYY!!! YOU RECOMMENDED ME BOOKS YOU LIKED!!! Jnxjsndjnddfnj Do you know how hard i have worked for this moment!? Tbh i stopped being offended by your arguments a while back. You did eventually get you point across about how a book can have a bad plot but still enjoyable to read. At some point i just started harassing you for fun
