1st life : they love each other, but inez dies first bcs of a scheme.
2nd life : inez marry the crown prince.
3rd life : inez run away and marry the painter.
carcel love inez in all three lives.
and last i read, carcel did not remember any of his past.

Inés was reborn only once. After her original life where she was married to Carcel, she died an unfated death so she was given the chance to live again.
After that, she committed suicide twice and therefore she regressed two times.
In a nutshell:
First life: married to Carcel and died an unfated death
Second life: reborn as a baby, grew up and married the crown prince then committed suicide
Third life: Regressed to age 16 after committing suicide. Ran away with the painter guy and eventually commits suicide
Fourth life: Regressed to age 6 years old and decided to marry Cárcel to use for divorce plan.
Carcel doesn’t remember the past lives YET. So all these dreams Ines is currently experiencing is only for her knowledge. Present day Carcel has no clue that he lived four time already.
Ines chose different men because of the foolish wish she made after her unfated death in the first life. Since she gave Carcel a very difficult time as his wife, she thought he deserved a better woman than her so she made the wish that he finds a better wife and that he lived a life that has nothing to do with her. She also made several more wishes for his happiness and that he never again die on the battlefield. Even the Angel that listened to her wishes thought she was foolish to make those wishes because the Angel knew Carcel loved her wholeheartedly and was the only man that could make her happy. Of course the Angel didn’t tell her this because he doesn’t interfere with free will. He just warns. When the Angel met Carcel, the Angel kind of suggested that Carcel counter Ines’s wish but Carcel accepted Ines’s wish and wished that she would be happy with the man she chooses. He added that if no other man can make her happy, he wants a second chance to make happy. This last life is Carcel’s second chance since his wish kicked in.
Oh.My.God. I normally run away from spoilers but... This makes me really want mooooreeee. I love how lovely both Carcel and Ines is, i love how the story goes and how they grow together in any means. Ughhh I can't wait (▰˘◡˘▰)
The really amazing thing about this is that Carcel made a wish for himself that most people would consider foolish. That wish was:
Carcel wished that he would never love any other woman but Ines. So the only woman he has loved in all timelines is ONLY her. He has never married anyone else. He always died early deaths on the battlefield after Ines committed suicide. So neither of them have ever lived into their 30s.
I am practically sobbing at this point... At first we all thought Carcel was just an annoying fuckboy but with each chapter my heart melts with his every act... And he was so thoughtful that he prioritized Ines' happiness before his.. ugh it's so perfect ಥ‿ಥ

Guys, here is another thing that you didn’t know that already appeared in the manhwa.
The dream that Carcel has in ep6 where Ines tells him show her how he wants her and she begins to strip her clothes…it actually happened in their original life. Word for word, action for action, Carcel was remembering the original life but he thought it was just a wet dream. That’s the dream that made him impotent. In every timeline he’s impotent as long as he already fell for Ines. This current timeline is unique. It’s believed that the Angel gave him that memory to wake him up in this timeline so that he doesn’t miss out on Ines.
the angel is a secret cupid in this lifetime huh ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
also this manhwa didn't explain to us the 1st ever lifetime where ines and carcel married, that's why i feel like missing out on something. i feel like i should re-read with this new info, thank you!
Angel has a job to do. His job is helping people to correct their fate. He had compassion on Ines too. She met him as a kid and he saved her life. Perhaps.l.
Since Ines kept living tragically, the Angel felt compassion for her and wanted to help her a little more to get on her fated path. However, Ines chose her path herself so he will later commend her for making the right choice in this last lifetime.
i'm guessing that there will be a scene where ines have conversation with the angel in this lifetime and later he revealed all of the lifetime she's been, bc all this regression never explained properly in the manhwa. i'm excited to know ines and carcel 1st life!!

Ines will meet him soon enough but in the capital city. He doesn’t offer a lot of information because sometimes it’s not for the characters to know more than they should. Ines finds out certain info from him and Carcel also learns certain info from him.
Ines and Carcel’s first life was thwarted by a woman he hated Ines so even in that life Ines suffered. That same woman will try to destroy Ines again in this final life. Some things are the characters being themselves over and over again.
