How do I tell everyone that this is a thing I'm suffering without exposing myself that I didn't remember them and just acted along??!! ╥﹏╥
Is this something you need to share outside of family and close friends? It's okay to not share with just anyone. I've never been one to remember a lot of people that I don't see on a day to day basis (I always get "do you remember me?" at work lots, and instead of saying yes or no, I just ask them to remind of what they were here for last time). If it's just faces you have trouble with, the way someone talks or dresses or the shape of their hair can give clues. If they are closer than that, and you have a cell phone, take selfies with them and label their names on the photo so you don't have to remember. It might even make them feel special that you want to keep their picture to remember them by.
It gets really embarrassing when I can't remember my classmates, relatives and even teachers!! Thanks a lot for the advice I'll try to remember by surrounding objects
