Yo, some of you really don't like characters redemption, huh? I think the manga did a decent job to portray that Sanada was wrong on what he did, he showed his regrets and apologized to Itonaga, that also has shown some grown from his past self. Astonishment is a slow process and probably you have to live with it all your life, but I think that Sanada is willing to do that for Itonaga. He stood for him in the new chapter and showed not only to himself and Itonaga, but also his old friends, that he's not the same. Let people grown and change, I think that if they're regret what they did they deserve another opportunity and if Itonaga wants to give him that, well that's on him.

I think some of you are going to the extreme by calling them toxic, because they're not toxic, they have obvious miscommunication and trusting issues but aren't hurting each other, at least not deliberately. To me it seems that they still hadn't let go their past and are still battling, one with the guilt (Sanada) and the other with trust (Itonaga). I think chapter 4 is showing some progress because Itonaga is taking obvious action; Sanada obviously would never question whatever Itonaga decides/says because he feels like he doesn't have anything to question him, you know for the guilt, while the other is like... is him telling me the truth? Do I trust him? But by talking and start to open each other they can overcome this and I hope author show us a little of that? But well, I think next chapter is the last? So let's see how this end.

I didn't feel anything fishy regarding her? She seems friendly enough and is only interested in Sei-sans abilities, she didn't blushed hard and babbled while talking with him or anything like that, so the most I can see happening is maybe bottom!dude (god I forgot his name holy) being jealous of the closeness they might get while she's learning to cook. I can even see her falling for the other guy, haha.

lmao the comments section is a damn mess. Anyway, loved this one, the art and juxtaposition of every panel is so damn beautiful, I teared up by the end ngl. I think it's interesting that they decided to not bond, specially in Ayame's case, he can't be affected by pheromones; also, you all are being up in arms abound the bond when they have been in love almost all their life! Of course they don't see it necessary.
Even if it's like "the rules of omegaverse" as you said, every author is free to create their own omegaverse universe as they want, without anyone coming and saying how things have to been because that's how they have always been. Some of you really forget that authors have been doing this since forever by creating betaxalpha, omegaxbeta, omegaxomega, alphaxalpha stories but no one says anything on those, just in this one because the alpha and the omega both decided to not bond.

I get him not wanting to bond because of his ideals and feelings on fated pairs/bonded pairs, but on the flip side that means Shuu's heat is still gonna be high key uncontrolled and will still severely affect other alphas, which a seriously dangerous situation for Shuu. Ayama seems to hold ideals above practicality and what is actually beneficial and will actually protect Shuu in this situation, I'm not here for it. If being bonded was simply equivalent to getting married, don't see an issue with them not bonding, but bonding really helps omegas (especially in cases like Shuu's where the pills don't really help) and isn't a simple ceremony/symbolic tradition and a slip of paper. Betas and Alphas don't have the same circumstances, dangers, or experiences that Omegas do and do not actually need to bond. I don't have issues with OmegaxOmega or OmegaxBeta pairings not bonding because it's not that they are putting their own ideals/feelings above the safety of the Omega, it's because they don't have the ability to bond. My issue with this specific pair is that Shuu has a highly unstable heat that even the strongest pills do nothing for and if not bonded will have to take both the pills and the suppressant for the rest of his life which will cause severe adverse effects on his health/body and potentially mess with his ability to conceive (if he ever decides he wants children). Not to mention puts him in a highly dangerous situation during his heat because it will still affect other Alphas without the bond. And Ayama, who actually has the ability to bond with Shuu, is just refusing to based off his own ideals and feelings about bonded/fated pairs. It's not even like he doesn't want to and isn't sure about spending the rest of his life with Shuu, because he is 100% about it. He's just a got a complex about Alphas and Omegas and doesn't want to be driven by instinct and what he, as an Alpha, is expected to do, but again, he's putting this above the actual safety of Shuu.
they are so fucking amazing! I love them so much, I hope the rest of the chapters are like this, just them maturing in their relationship. I don't want an unnecessary break up because that would break my heart. I think it's important to show their development and you can achieve that without angst, so thank you author because you're really doing amazing with these two!
