Firstly, in the most recent chapter, girly is going to get her ass killed for being delusional and most likely bothering MC. Secondly as someone else stated I simply don't use human logic with spirts {MC mom}. From what I got from reading she is obviously fickle, marrying a man she didn't love just because he has nice face, so her kids would have nice faces. Plus, she didn't care that her daughter had no emotion, hence not reacting the abuse she endured. MC mom obviously has a few loose screws, or spirits lack most human emotions like sympathy.
I was literally thinking this when people were complaining and hating the mom, that fine but she literally a spirit of nature . Nature is beautiful but very cruel . If we apply this logic to her mother it make sense.
The parents upset me, if you can barely afford to have two kids, image twelve. They also don't learn, each time they have a kid they take a loan increasing their debt.
