It's a cute story, but is it just me who finds her actions odd? To be honest I think any average person would find it odd that someone is trying to be their mom when their mother is dead. I know she is doing this because she always wants to be there for him but her behavior would make me uncomfortable. Maybe because his mom passed when he was extremely young she gets away with her actions. Not saying I don't like the manga it is a good read and I'll continue to read but her behavior creeps me out a little. Just wanted to hear others' thoughts on how she behaves.
I think it’s mainly just her emulating her mom and what she understands to be a mother mixed with her personal feelings towards Zen that makes it feel a bit strange. For me, it mainly feels like she does what she does because she cherishes Zen and appreciates her mom’s presence so much that she feels Zen would be lonely without someone like a mom, especially seeing that she feels the need to protect him. Because she thinks he needs protection and ‘a mother’s love’ she does things that wouldn’t seem normal but are now regular happenings in the households. Obviously puberty is changing the situation, which is why I think the manga sets us up in their middle school life.
So thankful they posted chapters 59 and 60 at the same time saved me some heartache. Even after seeing the spoilers and knowing the result reading it still hurt, poor moondae.

I am just sharing my thoughts on the dad's love life. I think the uni student is pretty and all but I don't know if I particularly like her, especially for him and his daughter. She seems a bit too immature and fickle to be able to handle a man with a kid romantically. She seems she would be upset if he missed a date or event more than once due to his kid. On the other hand, the friend's mom seems like she makes a good or okay partner like she would support his lifestyle with art and stuff and wouldn't demean his profession. I also liked the fact that she didn't push to know their info like his relationship with his daughter although there were obvious signs that could be deemed odd. It may be because is a single mom and seemingly older than him that she has a maturity that other girl lacks that's why I like her. Plus it is not like she is trying to push for a relationship like the other girl. Anyway this is just my very long two sense and to be honest this manhwa would have been fine with no romance too.
I feel the same way but i would love if there was a romance so yeondu gets a mom (and sister) lol. I would love to see how she would react cuz yeondu has her dad all to herself now she would have to share i wonder how she would look and react to that.
