I just re-read the latest chapter (as I always do, this is my comfort manhwa) and I felt as if Ho's "don't make me leave you alone, i don't like it" is an indirect answer from the author to Haebom's "What would I have done in his [his father] place?".
Like Ho is telling him "even if you come to face a situation like that, i want us to stay together as we are, don't face it on you own".

I think Eunsan longs for the idea of a warm, happy family. He couldn't achieve that with his wife and divorced. Now, he thinks he can't achieve that with Ian either, because they are both men.
He doesn't know that Ian can give him the warmest family ever, whether is just them or with little kids (adoption is a thing, you know).
(I don't support surrogacy so yeah)
