Honestly I don't get why he just doesn't fess up he's married. He won't be able to make friends if he keeps lying to people. I do understand is about his insecurities but it will only hurt him. I want to read the next chapter already ( ̄ε(# ̄)Σ
Korean culture is different. Don't you remember that chapter Dojin was interviewed and was told he got married early when he's 26. So imagine being 21, married, and with a child. For places like America getting married isn't seen as a big deal because many get married young and may just divorce later, but in many Asian countries divorce is looked down upon. I don't think you should be trying to force your narrative on a character from another country. (btw not trying to attack or anything just sharing some insight and how I perceived this part of the chapter)
When I wrote this I never thought it would be controversial. I stand by it though. Yes, korean culture is different and society tends to be stricter. People could turn into bullies in no time if they know he's married to a celebrity. Yet I still think lying won't solve the problem and just make him more miserable. Guess we'll find out how the author develops this new storyline in the next few chapters.

Loving this Manhwa but I do wish she would start to notice the emperor as a man. Although him being rejected all the time is totally funny. I'm not expecting her to suddenly become a blushing maiden but I do wish she at least realize the "jokes" she thinks he's making are earnest.
i think it's basically impossible for her based on how she was raised. she was trained from a young age with the sole intention of surviving - and winning, least she be raped and killed (she was raped in the novel by several people). even if she's now thinking of marriage, i doubt it has anything to do with romance - merely "people are happy, once i am done with my role here i will pick up a new role." her entire character is very mechanical, without that much passion other than serving.
but yeah, i do wish she would start to feel something - even if she doesn't realize his majesty loves her (why would her god love her, after all?)
thats pretty much not possible until he confesses. right now she worships him as a god lol and with the way she was raised as a male there are too many variables getting in the way
she was wishing for a wife a few chapter back lol that should tell her where her mental state is
same pauliana deserves to be treated better and respected
she was raped by one man only, her commander back when she became a soldier. She fought and avoided being raped by Lucius men, so that statement is hella wrong.
But she was abused (mentally, verbally, physically) by several people. It took 10 years of hard work and determination for her to be "respected" as a knight.
