The time line is messed up
Aquila deserves more. I know why the FL is angry towards him because of what happened to her brother. He did everything just to save her. He even swear an oath right?. I think aquila wasn't in control of himself back then. I mean her mother was a saintess but people called her a witch. Poor aquila why must you suffer like that...
He needs to find a better woman. This FL is irritating. She acts like an angry boy non stop.

Uri who’s only crime was seeing the good in people.
Uri is the fl’s precious brother she has all right to be pissed when all of a sudden her happy kind hearted brother comes back traumatized and hurt because of someone who she has only met once before. Her encounter with him wasn’t a good one and he is politically her enemy. She has reasons upon reasons to hate him.
If he was dumb enough to volunteer to receive punishment in lieu of the people that set him up to be killed/attacked out of greed. He has no right to complain.
Why cover up this crucial fact from your family? Especially, the sister.
