I hate to break it to you but the whole premise around Nicolas's character is that he suffers a shitty life, so 9/10 he'll probably get sa'd in this story too since he does in every story by the author to date

there are alot of alternate stories in the authors series but Nicolas is always the mc as well as a few supporting characters that appear in alot of the stories. the general line of how the stories are told is how much one person (Nicolas) can suffer in a life time, it's pretty dark and really fucked up tbh but if you like those kind of stories I think you'll find them interesting

There is no order to read the stories, it's just the same characters set in different timelines. The stories aren't connected in anyway so you're fine to read them in any order you want.

yeah I think it's interesting. yeah there probably wont be a ending to the series since the characters started out as OCs. I think it's mostly just the author making stories to fit their characters since the shorter stories are mostly posted on pixiv and not many have been serialized.
