Why not just use teleportation magic if Caleb can???????? Whyyyyyyyyyy??? I guess so the story can be longer? But I'm angry because there's this teleportation magic and still used carriage (not sure what its called)
i imagine that their magic has some limitations and they prob can't teleport too many ppl at one time. also they had to travel across an entire country to reach the barrier and considering the large amount of demons running around they would need some manpower in addition to just Caleb.
also i think Hilde wanted to see the state the world was in so just teleporting there and back would not allow for this experience.
