well i think this was just created bc a lot of people wanted smut but the author wanted it separate from the story. i actually like that its a manhwa of its own so that this didnt get in the way of the “real” story.
I get it, i know they made a separate manhwa just for the NSFW parts to keep those scenes from interrupting the main story, which i actually like. But my main issue is with how the sex scene was done. It feels so out of character for the seme?? and the whole scene honestly comes off as non-consensual (even if we say the uke is "enjoying" it, which bothers me.

i understand. its possible the author was pressured into this style of smut because it seems to be the most popular at the moment. their publisher mightve suggested it for better revenue on chapters. this isnt the kind of smut i expected from these characters or the kind that i like, but unfortunately money is a bigger priority for publishing companies.
It's not so far off from the characters. Kwon has shown to be quite wild. And the events leading up to this point was them having a previous issue that they have been wanting to talk about but always missing, on top of Ahn obviously keeping things. Ahn has also mentioned he imagined to do it in the office. The roughness addresses how Kwon ended up childish being upset, losing control, even after he said he's the mature one. Ahn is also established to be able to reject properly and Kwon backing up if the rejection is clear. This author baits readers into thinking the scene is going bad then it ends up getting okay. I quite remember some roller coasters from the prequel.

He is different in this story then the omega complex (but you learn why)

I read the novel and didn’t feel like there was a lot of drama? The angst comes around chapter 70 and iirc, it didn’t take long to get solved. Don’t worry, there’s a lot of romantic scenes, including the extras :) I’d honestly recommend you reading the novel if you’re interested though so you can form your own opinion as there are spoilers going around calling Dohyun a red flag. I kept seeing those comments before reading the novel and braced myself for the worst, but it wasn’t anything like that, tbh. He fucks up a couple of times lol but he’s not a red flag.
