I'm liking it already. It's really exhilarating to see scumbags get what's coming to them and before they get the chance to rape the girl. Just wish the chapters were longer.
that we'll never get any more English translations past chapter 13. As of April 9th, 2021, the series has already progressed to season 3 with over 80 chapters in total and it's still ongoing. I'd guess the translators gave up since the series got just psychologically heavy early on with very little to feel good about, and I wouldn't blame them. Having followed the raws, my opinion has not changed about the female lead, or, should I say, it's even less favorable.
even though he seems to only be in the story for comic relief. I know that the female lead will probably never be his girlfriend, though I wouldn't put it past her to accept his confession on the spur of the moment out of spite in some fit of anger (and unwarranted jealousy) at the male lead (who doesn't see any other female as anything other than a nuisance).
the author just has to introduce an annoying 3rd wheel who's going to claim the female lead as his own plaything...
It started off pretty normally, but by the time the dude's "manager" got going, I had to give up. If that level of violent, abusive behavior by a boss is supposed to be funny (or normal), the I want no part of this garbage.
That's not something you do to your good friend. She's also being a fucking moron by deciding that Shiki and What's-her-Name should be a couple, as if Shiki doesn't even have a fucking say in the matter. Yeah, yeah, she's a teenage girl who supposedly hasn't figured out her own feelings yet (though she certainly seemed pretty clear about it just before leaving for South Korea), but so fucking what? Don't avoid him just because some bitch is going to confess to him. This is so fucking stupid.
and the 3rd wheel is a scumbag of the first order. The male lead is far better off disassociating himself from someone who jumps to their own conclusions without even bothering to confirm the truth from the person in question. It would sure be nice if she ended up alone after the 3rd wheel gets what he wants out of her and drops her like a lead balloon.
Six years went by and Yousuke didn't marry some hot Italian girl? Yeah, right. And Koharu "waited" for Yousuke? Give me a break. Not once in 37 chapters, including the final one, did she ever show or express any romantic interest in him. Quite the contrary. Right to the very fucking end it was all completely one-sided.
thank you lol it was a lighthearted read but i didnt feel anything.. like any spark whatsoever and they wrapped up the whole series in like 2 chapters.. idk felt like a waste
This was very much a waste of time to read. As a childhood-turned-lovers "romance" it was a total and complete flop.

It's all pretty, if not extremely far-fetched. He doesn't tell her he's leaving. He does not contact her AT ALL during his SIX YEARS away, yet expects her to be waiting for him when (and if) he returns? What a bunch of bull shit.
More like it's turning into a fcking disgusting harem with all the women fawning all over him.
