If the genders were reversed, people would be up in arms, bitching about a pedophile adult man lusting after a teenage girl. But, no, it's okay if it's an adult woman going after a teenage boy.

I agree with your comment. So long as the one who is older does not make a move or has bad intentions then I don't think this is in the realm of pedophilia. In this manga. I think she establishes clear boundaries with herself and the high school neighbor. It was really wholesome that she was cooking out of the kindness of her heart for him but also filling the loneliness of her heart after her husband passed away.

to get some psychological counseling so he doesn't get buried by his own self-pity and lack of self-confidence. We're 73 chapters in and he has made zero progress in climbing out of his self-made pit of despair. The best thing about him is that he realizes that he has zero self-worth. This series might as well be named, "Komura's Pit of Despair."

A lot of people may be insecure and have little self confidence but at least they don't try to beat others up by projecting their own insecurities onto them, unlike a certain someone.
Komura's a sweet and considerate boy who 's actually very respectful of the girl he likes instead of pushing himself onto her, which probably doesn't sit right with you for who knows what reason. Stop raining on other people's parade, don't give out unsolicited advice,if you don't like something, keep your shitty opinions to yourself and please do yourself and everyone else a favour and kindly fuck off. the new guy in chapter 7 looks even more likely to become a serious contender for the FL's affections. And, as usual, the male lead proves himself to be a total dickhead. I should probably stop reading this since we all know that, in the end, she will fall head-over-heels for the asshole and I might get a heart attack from all the rage I'll feel...

If it wasn't bad enough that a bully was introduced who is obviously going to fall for the female lead, it seems that she seems to be building up her very own harem. And, the author seems content to be diminishing the sweet interactions with her and the guy who used to be the male lead in favor of forcing unnecessary drama down our throats.
that it makes me think the author's real-world experience is that of a pre-teen virgin.
