WHY THE HELL did my two fuckin brain cells remember yang yang saying in the very beginning how in the next chapters they would experience all kind of hardships, like “being involved in a murder case, meeting our fate while climbing a mountain, having amnesia due to a car crash...” BUT NOT THAT HE SAYS IMMEDIATELY AFTER THAT “those things most definitely didn’t happen” lmao
here and there i’m hearing the argument that “it’s just not realistic” for all the characters to be gay couples and i’m like.. if it were straight teens playing music with each other and ending up falling for each other, we wouldn’t hear a peep from those “critical of the romantic genre” or whatever. let us gays have fun ffs..
whenever a piece of media contains any sliver of queer romance, it’s suddenly supposed to uphold some ridiculous standards and be unarguably well rounded and good and realistic and multidimensional an so on.. and now that “given” got a wider audience, this criticism starts to spread. yet hetero romance gets crammed into the plot even when there’s zero chemistry between the characters. so what i’m saying is i’m tired and i’m just happy to read about queer teens falling in love ( ಥ ‿ಥ )و
just in case it turns out to be a SPOILER

i’m not sure if we’ve ever seen asirpa without her fingerless gloves (?) but if we haven’t there’s a chance that her memory of wilk is not the only thing that makes her the key to the puzzle.. what if she has those mentioned tattoos on her hands? and they are also a part of the map.
damn that would be even more heart wrenching - to think how resolute was wilk in predetermining her destiny
