he blames haru for not acting up on his feelings. the feelings aki never took into any consideration while teasing haru and simultaneously sleeping around and moping about all the mess with ugetsu. then he assaults haru! assaults him ffs! and then has the nerve to ask for a shelter for his homeless ass so that he can remain an eyesore for the person he abused.. just how self centered can one be?! hurting and traumatizing a friend and then continuing to wallow in self-pity.. man i’m so mad.
haru is best boy, as always, ever so kind, forgiving and gracious. it is telling that he can’t bring himself to hate this asshole, shows us again how strong and kindhearted he actually is
and yeah, in order for aki to regain any worth as a person he needs to break his back in atonement and have some major maaajor character development. thought so far he’s just been a freeloader who occasionally cooks..
what makes me so upset is that if Haru ends up with Aki in the end it will be considered a triumph for Haru and a happy ending when in reality we all know Aki choosing Haru would be the worst worst thing to happen. Aki's emotional abuse and disregard for Haru is damaging if not down right dangerous to Haru's mental health and self-worth. I know Aki's a fictional character but to be frank he's simply a horrible person there really are no qualities I see in him as being desirable or redeemable at this point. He's a hurt person so his only outlet is hurting others? No you don't have the right to inflict your pain and trauma onto others who don't deserve especially someone who has stood by you for so long without complaint. This is really resembles what you see with say drug takers/alcoholics who routinely hurt the ones they love in their self-destruction, losing any sense of empathy beyond their own pain. While it may seem more harmful, walking away and no longer being their safety net is sometimes the only way to stop enabling their habit and finally take a hard look at themselves. I truthfully hope Aki and Haru never end up together because as I said before Haru will drown always guessing if he's good enough for Aki, if he was 2nd choice, if he can provide for Aki, etc. etc. Aki already has too much control over Haru. Abuse doesn't have to take the form of bruises before the pain blossoms from the source.
waiting for their reunion is so agonizing, ogata’s meddling is so infuriating, the tension is unbearable.. i love this manga sO MUCH

it’s probably not -that- important tbh but for me it was a very significant moment with really good pacing: Ein was examining Diesel’s body, then saw that he was raped, then covered him back with the sheet and said that now he’s safe, and then Diesel plopped his head in Ein’s hand.. and then Yanek came back.
so, it’s a little thing but still quite metaphorical, incredibly heart wrenching and meaningful.
Yeah that true. On the other hand Yanek come back and told Ein, that he call doctor to gives Diesel medical care, that he needs. But yeah, that was symbolic and beautiful moments despite horrible circumstances.

aki is such a cruel & hypocritical asshole. yes, his heart is broken, yes, he is suffering, but in these hardships he never let himself grow as a person, never learned compassion because of that chip on his shoulder.
he thinks he was treated unfairly: “if you didn’t want me, why did you indulge my feelings?” - and yet he does exactly the same to the kindest person around, to someone who’d break his back for him! aki knows what it’s like to be cruelly “lead on” when in truth you’re not needed, yet does the same to his friend (!) who sincerely wishes him happiness.
at first i thought he was just a flirty guy oblivious to haruki’s feelings, but then he reveals he knew about them all along! he knew about them while teasing haruki, while falling asleep next to him, and oh my god he knew about them while fucking assaulting haruki! i’m so mad, it’s is so disgusting, i just.. ughhh
haruki is best boy, i’m so upset he had to live through this awful experience. he’s so strong for managing to keep kindness in his heart. i hope he’ll be happy eventually. and falls in love with someone who actually deserves him
official chapters in korean are far ahead up to ch91. official chapters in english are behind on ch55 and come out on tuesdays & fridays, however ch56 is not out yet. so my guess is whoever uploads these here decided to wait till it's out, since it's considered rightfully so a faux pas to spread chapters before the official release ¯_(ツ)_/¯
i really liked this comic from the beginning but was hesitant to draw conclusions before i find out what sort of relationship Seung-hee ends up having with an older dude.. but now that i've seen the raws i can say with absolute certainty what a great comic it is. genuinely really good example of shounen ai. touches upon different topics openly and inconspicuously. all the characters are so multidimensional (!), have their own contradictions, struggles and methods of dealing with them.. and the romance part is beautifully conveyed, showing true to their age behavior and never being raunchy. i'm glad i found this one
