idk i always feel very bittersweet when a character had an older partner who died, it just feels like he’s going to be a replacement especially because they way they behave is similar

And what happened to their partner.
okay so mc (blonde) becomes partner with ml (black hair) who had a partner in the past that died while trying to save him, mc acts really similar to the ml’s old partner and there are even panels in which they are compared side by side
honestly i’ve seen worse in other bls but it is still something to take into consideration if you don’t like this kind of trope
