The story is a bit.. Meh? The art and characters are nice but the chapters are short and you don't get as much interaction with the characters as you're hoping for. You really just have to see what they say and assume what happened. It's an interesting plot for sure but, Super confusing. The author doesn't really properly explain it I guess. Also, What's with the gold metal thing?? Isn't this her first year at the academy?? Some things just don't make any sense. I like the plot overall but things can get a bit hard to understand. It's badly organized and it really just feels like a badly written summary for each chapter.
Totally recommend this story for the well plot just not how it's carried out. In conclusion, This story is very confusing unless you pin everything together.

I love Caidel. He's comforting yet doesn't overly-sugar-coat things. I feel like Eleanor isn't truly trusting him like she should. He's 100% proven himself yet she is still so hesitant. I don't know if it's just me but the story is just dragging. I still like Eleanor but her hesitant personality has been bugging me a tad. I know she went through a lot recently but I think she should try moving on more and stop crying over spilt milk. I don't know what's up with Caidel though. I think he's just annoyed by Eleanor maybe? I have no clue. ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍

Why can't the female lead use Sasha yet still wish for her happiness? She can still sincerely hope the best for her while still taking advantage of her.

I guess it's because she's always seen herself as someone selfish and quite "evil". So, she doesn't have it in her to actually care for someone and all that, but that's just her image of herself you know. I guess the author made her that way so she could get some character growth from an evil, selfish one to someone who is starting to become less selfish and more caring.

I'm SOOOOOO confused. I don't even know what's past or present-- And I thought she was gonna be the Duke? Then she's a knight? Why is she friends with the first prince?-- Isn't he from the Empire? This whole story is so fucking confusing. Wasn't the second prince supposed to be like locked up in a cottage?? How did he hurt her brothers hand?? I think I'm on either chapter one or five or something but it's all so confusing and- I don't even know at this point.

Okay ima try and answer your questions.
- Right now is the present. When the whole thing is black outside of the box its basically a flashback. When white (which basically should be literally almost all the time), its the present.
- She was gonna become duke but, because of her brothers broken hand that can't be fixed unless of a mage, they switched dream jobs. She became a knight and he became a duke.
- Shes friends with the first prince possibly because of her brother ?
- The second prince locked up? Wha- What the hell are you talking about ( ̄∇ ̄")
- He hurt his brothers hand by his sword or by magic

Everyone is talking about the Male characters being stalkers but I don't see it like that. I'm on chapter one so far and I already absolutely hate the female lead. "Nobody will miss me." GIRL- STFU. It's obvious a lot of people will miss her if she even has friends willing to track her down. I'm aware they have feelings for her but still, Her comrades obviously care about her. I think it was so unfair for her to just leave like that without telling them anything. It was really cruel. I understand her not wanting the rewards and thinking she doesn't deserve happiness but gag, It still sucked. Why the hell did she fight if she would be so negative about it in the end. Her hard work paid off and she should be happy that she saved a bunch of lives. I honestly don't care how sad her backstory is. Female lead makes me rage. And even after she said she didn't want happiness, The next thing you see is her smiling by some shelf. (?) I just can't stand female characters who think they're all alone even when they have people with them. I hope she faces some huge character development. Her friends have a right to go search for her after she left without a word about her plans. Please don't reply with an argument. I won't change my mind about her. Maybe after I read more but not likely.

This is just my opinion but I see it as she pretty much had no choice but to become a knight. She doesn’t find honor in blood she’s and that combined with the lack of positive parenthood early on has led her to have rock bottom self esteem. We also don’t know how much the other guys have interacted with her and in what way. For all we know they’ve only met once or twice or treat her as a passive acquaintance which would lead her to think she’s just a face in the crowd. She knows the duke likes her like a daughter but she’s hesitant to take things she doesn’t think she deserves when she believes she’s also already taken so much. She just wants a quiet peaceful life with her bro (best character) and I can respect that. Ah sorry I just saw your argument comment. I’m not trying to persuade you but I hope this gives you some insight into why some people are fine with her.

I’m irratated with her too honestly not as much as other stories I’ve read with the same character type though. Maybe it’s due to the Duke not encouraging her behaviour and being all “yo people care for you, you can’t just throw their words/actions in the trash.” Not word for word.
I only liked that cause In most stories I read all the characters are like “omg you poor lost pitiful lamb” they never actually give the main character logical advice. I don’t mind her going out into the world and figuring herself out, I just don’t like the way she did it as it’s really not a healthy way to start a journey for herself and also the people around her.
Is this incest? It really looks like it. I can't believe this man actually stares at her body even though she is like technically mentally handicapped. I have no idea what he'll do in the future- This story sucks. Seriously really disappointed he calls her stupid and all that then when he sees her body, He gets all flustered. Gah. What a complete pervert! This is 100% dropped.
Have you read the whole manga? and no it's not incest
Yeah uh like the person ahead of me said, it may seem confusing because she calls him uncle, but they're 100% not blood related whatsoever
Bra they're literally married. It's not incest
She considers him her uncle though. And from her past life, Wasn't he like the reincarnation of her uncle? That's still really weird.
The emperor was indeed her legal guardian since he took her in as a princess but they were not blood relatives. Plus in East Asia it's custom to call adults you're close with auntie/uncle. I do understand what you're saying cause the age gap and the emperor took the girl in and watched her grow for a few years until she died. But technically he didn't get to be with her. Instead she's with the reincarnation that wasn't a legal guardian to her. They're just man and wife so no its not incest. I wouldn't think too much about it cause the story is p crazy. I mean she's supposed to be 14 years old inside that body but that didn't stop them from fucking.
Excuse me? 14?! Holy fuck- Oh my God.
yups.....
