Well maybe their relationship has a mythical connection. I'm pretty sure Abeno is loosely based on the historical onmyoji Abe no Seimei and Hanae is based on his rival Ashiya Doman. There are many legends stating that the two rivals had many battles. Some legends say that Ashiya Doman was skilled in dark magic and there's a legend that says that he killed Seimei....but then Seimei revives and killes Doman. Anyway maybe this could all be inspiration for later in the story. Like maybe it's revealed that Abeno and Hanae are descendants of these famous rivals and they're destined to kill each other. Or maybe Hanae goes psycho again and Abeno has to make a choice whether to kill him or not. Either way Idc so long as I get more AbenoxHanae moments I'm happy <3
