Plus tons of bls have the mc trope of enacting quite emotionally/physically harmful stuff to their counterparts (which they in fact come to dislike & try to fix). I guess in a way we all have a close loved one like Mariko. It’s quite sad how majority of these commenters have been in Shii-Chan and Mariko’s place experience wise associating depressions & suicide/ideation. It is because I have deeply related to Shii’s suffering and pain regarding a dear friend abruptly leaving this world and everything behind, that I no longer want to proceed/act out with suicidal ideation. Yes it is hard to live especially with deteriorating mental health issues, but at the same time. We all just have to keep living man :) Tis is life.
