Sohan is really too kind QwQ Maybe he knows his father really is just using him...and I really still am hoping the father starts being a dad and make up for his son but....like..does he even feel guilty?? He just can't help himself from getting drawn to any small amount of kindness. Even if it's just meaningless words, they're words tha he longs to hear.
Anyway, that's my take from the situation based on my own experience.
And no, his father's kindness is not real, nor is he plotting to purposely hurt him. He's just so self centered that he doesn't really think he's doing anything wrong. The only thing he's after is his own profit. He doesn't care to even think about anything else.

Idk but I think I see most people hating on his father and not sohan himself. Personally I don't hate sohan as well. I really like him that I felt sad thinking he might end up hurt by his father again. Thats why I thought he was being too kind to his father even tho he probably knows he's just being used. But well someone already explained with their own personal experience on why sohan is drawn to that. I just don't want sohan to end up getting really hurt again by his father...it makes me sad and kinda annoyed seeing that there are parents who really don't care about their children T__T

No bc there are some people who can't understand why he's doing what he's doing and being angry at him for it, like he this is literally how he was raised to be, but yeah his parents are so fucking shitty like oh my god even his mom too she's not exempt from this, she literally abandoned him just to have another family where she personally felt happier
