It's because Lucaon is important for him that Ryan is being like this towards Kyon.

Lucaon totally neglected Kyon before and only called him out for sex and remember the office scene where Kyon was giving Lucaon a bj and Ryan came in and Lucaon was being an asshole about the situation? Also the doorway scene where Kyon was laying on the ground, unconscious because of Lucaon. All the things Ryan has witnesses between Lucaon and Kyon is enough to justify how he is acting right now. He probably thinks that Lucaon isnt really that into Kyon and might be only keeping him for entertainment. If we think about it, Kyon is an outsider to Ryan so he wont let him mess up what hes been trying to protect for a long time. Atleast thats how I think. Im not saying what hes doing is right. Im just saying I understand why he's being like that.

Oh and this scene lmao. He pretty much straight up told Ryan he was fine being alone.

Kyon is my favorite character (even tho he's a lil weak lol) and im not Ryan's biggest fan but we fail to realize how Kyon is an outsider to Ryan so he wont let him mess up what he's been protecting for a long time. I get wat ur saying but it's still not his responsibility to push Kyon away, he should leave that decision TOTALLY up to Lucaon. Kyon should REALLY just tell Lucaon the truth so Ryan can't make the decisions up ALL to himself because it would be Lucaon's responsibility to choose if he wants to stay w/ Kyon or not (after Kyon tells him the truth) so that I CAN CALM DOWN (⌒▽⌒), so Lucaon doesn't need to worry about wat Kyon is hiding, n so Ryan doesn't get in the way of Lucaon n Kyon because it'd be TOTALLY up to Lucaon.

They did say they didnt wanna tell Lucaon because it might deepen his hatred for servants or humans or trigger his trauma even more. I dont feel the need to protect Ryan. What I feel the need to do is to clarify his role in the situation. In all honesty I find whats happening to them now as 'good' lmao. Ryan is the one who triggers Lucaon to really open up his heart and be honest about his feelings for Kyon. Lucaon would be just as tsundere as ever if Ryan isnt there lmao. In other words, Ryan is the key to strengthen Lucaon and Kyon's relationship and thats why I dont hate him. I wont be taking sides because theres no side to take lol. Everything right now, is happening for a reason.

Honestly, without Ryan who knows when Lucaon will open up and be honest about this whole thing. Im pretty thankful he's there to be the 'villain' because if he wasnt, Lucaon would probably just be taking Kyon for granted. His role is needed to provoke Lucaon into realizing how important Kyon is. You dont have to like Ryan but his role in this manhua is pretty important.

Im not justifying what he's doing but he has to be there so Lucaon wont beat around the bush.
