damn this was such a real story that actually had some authenticity to it. props to the author for creating such realistic plots and characters! also I saw somewhere that Hitoshi looks 12 but I don't think so his face looks pretty mature and not necessarily old but at least not a kids'. He's just kind of short (like me) and mah kun is just tall, and that makes the difference really apparent. so yeah. really like this masterpiece!!
