Why is it that in these types of stories whenever a girl is a “genies” she always hides her abilities but the guys are always exposed as child geniuses and it’s fine but when it’s a girl she like I must hide so no one finds out I’m smart, like why. Just tell them, why do girls have to act their age while guys get to be smart and it’s normal(╯°Д °)╯╧╧
I think it’s because in most of those story’s the set up is in a not so modern world so girls should in general not be as skilled as guys (it wasn’t required / wanted) or its connected with like gender roles - girl being pretty but no overly capable ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
But that aside I totally feel u ! There should be more amazing openly known female geniuses ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ

It's expected of males to be the better of the two sexes in works such as this which tend to imitate old European values.
The earlier boys show signs of being smart or strong the more valid they are as men they will potentially become in the future.
Women don't have that same expectation of them. Basically, being academically smart or business smart is men's territory where women don't usually occupy.
Therefore, she would direct more unnecessary attention to herself when she doesn't want that because it would be inconvenient for her plans.
So, in actuality, being a normal girl who acts her age is a great cover because who would want to pay attention to that normal girl?

The story is good but why are they making the female villain seem normal, like they where helping someone and then she has the two guys fighting the vet her, if I hadn’t started at the biggining I would think she was the main character

She just yells out characters names every two seconds putting her in deeper shit, why is she acting like she has things under control when we all Know the prince is going to kill her if she doesn’t give him a good enough explanation for her knowledge.
