So one of the spoilers i read on novel update said the other airin is actually a lot x2 older than our og so the fact that she’s competing with a 5-6 yrs old( idk her age) is so embarrassing…
Yeah but the thing is the curse also affects her mind. So she's an adult stuck in a child's body with a child brain. Her adult mind is not competing with Arein, her child mind is. Also our Arein ends up breaking the yellowed eyed Arein's curse so she gets a chance to grow up.
The way hes become what he used to fear is rlly sad considering he had found a good father figure (the coach) u would think at least that he will turn his shitty personality around well at least he doesn’t really beat kim dan like his dad

the fact that marriage within the family is accepted im convinced the former king had a thing for his sister greta coz hes too obsessed bruhh he favoured his daughter that looks like her and now favours his grand daughter ( or grand niece to be specific) the way he never cared about his direct line of grandchildren until mc came along is really giving siscon

No I have to agree with you if this was grief and guilt he wouldn’t have acted the way he did. Why would he be so angry at his sister falling in love? Why did he essentially hold his own daughter captive in the castle just bc she had the same eyes? The fact the first thing he does after keeping Judith - his sister’s granddaughter - in the castle is to have her come sit with him so they can talk about his sister. Whether the author did it intentionally or not his feelings do delve into incestuous obsession
he didnt get mad bc she was in love but because she was in love with a peasant at least thats how i see it or maybe im just justifying it no clue
