I get that there will be character development eventually but we are more than 60 chapters in and the ml is still the hugest jerk and it’s mostly been just suffering for the mc. Author is really dragging it out and the lack of progression has made an unsatisfying read. Maybe we’re just a few chapters away from an aha! moment. But I’m doubtful bc ml really doesn’t seem to ready to act like a decent person. So hard seeing Dan practically s*icidal.
I used to love it, but I’m about to give up. Might return once it’s finished. Next chapter will tell me.

I wish Kim Dan realizes how shitty jjk treated him. And jjk doesn’t have any self reflection or remorse, it drives me crazy. He can be decent with others but he’s so cruel/a jerk to Kim Dan. I want him to get crazy desperate.
What I wanted to see S2 was for jaekyung to suffer! But instead it’s my poor baby Dan suffering :( and I didn’t want him to see jaekyung until at least mid season. Dan is not ready for a reunion.
I knew an update was too good to be true since there was no news of this coming back. I hope it will come back though even if it takes some time. Hoping the author can have good health.

My prediction was right last chapter. I thought maybe bada can’t survive outside the games and Doha just wants to keep playing with his bae and everything and everyone else be damned. Gosh is there a happy ending for these two? Falling in love with an NPC, please this better not end tragic. Maybe Doha will win and trade his place for bada, but I really hope they can be together somehow.
