Can you explain something to me? I've read this but I still cant understand it. So what was imanuel illness? Is it the same as the other kids? And why was the incubus at the hospital? Was it to eat the sick kids' heart?

The incubus is there to help the children. He treats them to forget their pain. But when Imanuel spoke about him everything went wrong. They came and shoot everyone. They doesn't care if they are innocent children. So Imanuel loses his voice due shock. It was him telling about the incubus and so he didn't want to speak anymore.

I think the kids needed surgery and heart transplantation. Imanuel could get one and it worked. But it isn't easy to get the right heart donated.

So the incubus actually wasnt a bad guy right? And what about the ending? Why do those creatures chasing after imanuel? What do they want? Arent they dead?

yes basically the incubus's previous lover worked at the hospital and he used his powers to calm the patients pain. And at the end they both escaped the evil cult, but in doing so broke free the other demons in their storage house. When left alone, the demons started haunting manuel using his ptsd to try and make him kill himself, but then Naruko drove them away.

He was bad and good at the same time. He helped the kids but he also eats his prey. They chased him because he was there. They were still alive but couldn't eat and recover so they keep on the first human to gain back their power.
