God you're dense. Hate, dislike, whatever negative feelings towards a character, doesn't make one unable to read a story or watch a movie. I hated Sangwoo when I read KS, it doesn't mean I disliked the story, or the genre. Same can be said here, just because we dislike or hate the blond man does not mean we necessarily dislike the story, I find the story pretty interesting and original.

you missing the point. the op post about “is backstory supposed to make we like that blonde bitch or something” how can you conclude this when you read the backstory? hating the plot and character are different. the op basically hating the plot cause of character. what you describe are hating the character not the PLOT. learn the difference

You're just reaching. And the question they asked is valid since the character is shit and dislikeable, it's not a backstory that will make someone like him, it still doesn't mean they dislike the plot.

People can have negative feelings toward a character, even the protagonist. He's the male lead, not main character btw. People who dislike/hate/despise/resent him are justified.
