I feel like this is just how like stans idolize and board line make an illusion of this person in their head and when it’s not fulfilled it’s the person’s fault. Like homie, you never once talked to her, like you can’t get angry for not even trying to tell her. I can’t fathom how he could push his ideals on a noble lady. If this arch of his backstory is supposed to make us feel bad and she ends up back with him or inferring, ong it would me make lose a braincell. I bet anything once she sees his scars she’s gonna feel bad and fall in love with him again.
I know JK defenders are going to use this now. But in all seriousness like I’m just preparing myself for the second hand embarrassment, when they wake up in the morning when Dan thinks he’s changed. Also like where is potato?!? I just find it weird that he hasn’t shown up even as a background character? Like he wouldn’t miss his birthday. I have a theory that maybe he overheard or even saw Dan and JK during the America fight?
As much as the art style is beautiful, and we get crumbs of potential love interests. Where is this going? Like I understand we are seeing him adjust to idol life or just in another life in general, and we have this scary undertone of abuse, yet that’s not even explored. We just keeping meeting npcs that know something and it doesn’t go anywhere. Like we are 70+ chapters in and barely scratched the surface. Idk. Might be a drop for me, until like spoilers or leaks get back in.

This arch did nothing but made him even more insufferable. Like are we supposed to feel bad and sympathize with him after all he did to her, this could’ve been fixed or even had changed in her mindset about the outside world by just simply talking to her. Not once has this man spoken to her prior to “falling” in love with her. He makes me so angry…
