Well they did start out as step-siblings so it kinda makes sense
Eh. It was okay. Not bad, but not great. Never mind the trope of the FL thinking the ML doesn't really love her and that the FL believes tabloids over reality. But add in the brother's creepy actions and it is worse. Like he came off as though he was in love with Bea himself and that was why he was driving all her bf's away. I half expected him to try to force a kiss on her at one point (when he was confronting her about sleeping with Elliot). It also pisses me off that Lucilla was not only acting like a spoiled, vicious brat, but she was written more like a jealous ex-lover of Elliot's than the half-sister that she was to him. And they did NOT give any justifiable reason for her acting like that. Especially since she was younger than Bea by only a few years at most.
At least Milly proved herself willing to try doing things without Bea's help, and was even willing to help Bea and Elliot get together. Now THAT is a good sister. As for the other 2 bros, they weren't bad either. I mean, they at least didn't do anything purposefully cruel or call her names or emotionally abuse her like Lucilla and Bene did. Because that is what Lucilla and Bene were doing. They were being emotionally and mentally abusive.
And that Lucilla didn't face ANY repercussions for her treatment of Bea. This is one of those few times, when I would have gladly supported someone (even Elliot) slapping her across the face and calling her out.
Glad they got married in Italy so Lucilla and Bene couldn't sabotage the wedding.
Ugh. It sucks. I could have really enjoyed this had those two siblings not been so completely vile.

I had trouble with this from the get go, but I still pushed through in hopes that it would get better. It didn't. Whoever wrote this needs to do proper research. This isn't just stereotypical trash, it is beyond that. It is so offensive in SO many ways as well as just being poorly written. The ONLY thing that is good is the art itself. But that art is definitely NOT enough to save this POS from the slag heap. It is like the author went above and beyond in trying to insult an entire culture. Even Harlequin romances do not treat arab-based stories this poorly. And anyone familiar with Harlequin Romance knows that is saying A LOT.

Okay, I know we didn't finally get rid of the annoying bitch Lan Yan just to have to deal with another annoyance in the form of the vampire prince. Had the prince honestly been concerned about Xia Xu, I could have given him props. But he obviously doesn't. He just sees a half-vampire that he, himself, would use as a slave anyway. So he just used the excuse of assuming Xia Xu was a slave to try to trap and use as a weakness against Bai Li.
I SWEAR, why are SO MANY of the characters in this so reprehensible and disgusting! The only good ones are the two main, Luo Bo, his mom (for those that think she isn't, there are spoilers as to why she sent Luo Bo to his uncle the way she did, box and all, that show she is actually a good mom), the secretary and the secretary's love interest. Everyone else needs to be tossed into a deep, dark pit and NEVER be allowed to see the light of day EVER again!
Think of it this way. They would be saving 2 lives by choosing Woo Young over the baby. Because it has already been established that Kyung Joo WILL DIE without Woo Young. Woo Young may not be thinking of that at the moment, but it is true. Add to that, that there would be no guarantee that the baby would survive anyway, and it is more logical to choose the mother in this case, over the child.
